On January 8, 2020, a monitoring visit of the LNSS project “Project Library Support Services: Modernizing libraries in the Western Balkans through the staff development and reform of library services” took place. (Library Network Support Services: Modernizing libraries in the Western Balkans through staff development and reforming library services)
The project is funded by the European Commission under the program “Capacity Building in Higher Education” (CBHE). The third year of the LNSS project has been successfully completed and the two Albanian partners UBT and UNIKO (University of Korça “Fan S. Noli”) have successfully achieved the main objective; modernization of libraries, through staff development and reform of library services. The libraries of both universities have built bilingual cards, Albanian and English, and are now part of the joint system of European Partner Libraries and Western Balkan countries.
