Short Exchanges – ICM (Students/Staff)

KEY ACTION 1 – INTERNATIONAL CREDIT MOBILITY

If an Albanian University has been selected as winner in a bilateral project in the  International Credit Mobility framework, it students, teaching and administrative staff can profit from short term mobilities, from 3 up to 12 months for Bachelor, Master and PHD students and from 5 days up to 2 months for the teaching and administrative staff. The language requirements are specified in the inter-institutional agreement between the two universities.

How to apply for such opportunities?

All applicants should contact the international relations or project offices in their institutions to learn if any Erasmus + mobility project is being implemented. They should receive information pertaining to the time of launching of individual applications, selection criteria, application timeframe, etc.

A student ought to know:

Selections criteria for students and staff are stipulated in agreement between the sending are receiving institutions. They should be announced when the call for applications is launched and be properly advertised.

Recognition of the study period is a compelling condition between the two institutions. The receiving institution is obliged to equip the student and sending institution with the list of results and the sending institution is obliged to fully acknowledged the modules implemented and the list of results he achieved. For such reason the student fills the “Learning Agreement for studies”.

Erasmus+ HE Learning Agreement for studies

The Learning Agreement for Studies is prepared by the student before the mobility starts, based on the modues he select to complete in the recieving institution (table A). Such modules are described in the cataloge  made available from the recieving institution. In addition the student fills table B with corresponding modules  in the sending institution, which will be recognised after the mobility period.

This agreement is jointly signed by the student, the responsible person in the sending institutuion and the responsible person in the recieving institutuion  .

Staff

University staff (academic or administrative) based on the objective of the mobility period fills the:

Staff mobility for Teaching Agreement;

Erasmus+ HE Staff Mobility Agreement for teaching

Staff mobility for Training Agreement;

Erasmus+ HE Staff Mobility Agreement for training

The Participant Grant Agreement

 Besides the up mentioned agreements the students and staff will sign the participant grant agreement as well, which defines the conditions of the financial support and allocation modalities.  This document is signed between the individual and the Programme Country Institution before the start of the mobility.
