On 19 December 2025, NEO Albania successfully organized an online info session titled \u201cErasmus+ Opportunities for Albanian Students.\u201d<\/div>\n
After the greetings from the NEO representatives, two invited students, Nisea and Steljona, informed participants about both physical and virtual mobility opportunities within the Erasmus+ programme. They shared their exchange experiences\u00a0from finding the call for applications on their university\u2019s website, through their mobility period at the host institution, and, in Steljona\u2019s case, to returning home after completing the exchange.<\/div>\n
Each of them explained in detail the application process, the required documents, accommodation arrangements (such as options in Granada, Spain for Steljona), study schedules, and activities they carried out during their mobility.<\/div>\n
Although Nisea mainly completed a virtual mobility and spent only one week in Germany, she strongly encouraged students to take part in such experiences at least once in their lifetime, whether onsite or online.<\/div>\n
Afterwards, Steljona, who completed her semester in Granada, shared her journey from the beginning of her mobility. She highlighted the new knowledge, friendships, and personal growth she gained while studying at the host university. Both students mentioned that, if possible, they would like to apply again, and they motivated their peers to apply for Erasmus+ mobilities and become part of the Erasmus+ community.<\/div>\n
Next, three other students: Silvi, Emin, and Fatjon from the Polytechnic University of Tirana, presented their experience. They are currently attending the second year of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master: \u201cEMSSE \u2013 European Master for Sustainable Systems of Engineering\u201d. Silvi and Fatjon are studying in Barcelona, while Emin is studying in Compi\u00e8gne, France.<\/div>\n
In addition to describing their master\u2019s programme, they provided general guidance on applying for Erasmus Mundus Joint Master programmes: how to search for EMJMs in the catalogue, application links, required documents, eligibility for final’ year Bachelor students and graduates who studied in English, deadlines, and submission procedures.<\/div>\n
The info session concluded with answers, tips, and recommendations from NEO on how to submit a successful application under the Erasmus+ programme \u2014 both for student exchanges and for the new EMJM Call for Applications 2026.<\/div>\n
