{"id":1558,"date":"2014-06-19T12:22:15","date_gmt":"2014-06-19T12:22:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/erasmusplus.al\/?p=1558"},"modified":"2017-07-18T12:28:56","modified_gmt":"2017-07-18T12:28:56","slug":"albania-signs-the-agreement-for-erasmus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/erasmusplus.al\/?p=1558","title":{"rendered":"Albania signs the agreement for Erasmus+"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On 19 June 2014,\u00a0Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina\u00a0and\u00a0Montenegro\u00a0respectively signed an Agreement establishing their partial participation in \u2018Erasmus+\u2019: the Union programme for education, training, youth and sport (2014-2020).\u00a0The Agreements were signed on the occasion of the<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>3rd Ministerial Meeting<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>of the Western Balkans Platform on Education and Training (WBPET), which took place in Brussels on 19-20 June and convened the Ministers and Deputy Ministers of the region.\u00a0The signature of the Agreements brings the three countries one step closer to their partial participation in the Erasmus+ programme. As soon as the signed Agreements enter into force,these countries will be able to participate in those actions not managed by a National Agency, i.e. IT support platforms (including<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u00a0<a id=\"tooltip\" title=\"eTwinnig\" href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/education\/opportunities\/school\/cooperation-schools_en.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">eTwinning<\/a><\/span>) and support for policy reform. During this period, institutions and organisations in these countries will also benefit as partner countries of the external cooperation activities, i.e. higher education and youth mobility to and from the EU, and capacity building in the fields of higher education and youth.
