Activity: The national seminar on \u201cEnhancing student\u2019s role in HEIs\u2019 governance and management\u201d.
Venue: Polytechnic University of Tirana<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Albanian Higher Education Reform Expert team and the Albanian Erasmus + Office organized on May 24th<\/sup>, 2018, at the premises of the Polytechnic University of Tirana, the national seminar on \u201cEnhancing student\u2019s role in HEIs\u2019 governance and management\u201d. The seminar was greeted by Mr., Ervin Demo, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

This event brought together more than 50 managers, lecturers, career offices staff, student bodies\u2019 representatives and students from Albanian universities who discussed on steps and mechanisms needed to overcome current barriers and increase students\u2019 engagement in the governing, quality control and general activities in Albanian HEIs. In addition, the participants had the chance to learn on good practices employed in Scotland for supporting students\u2019 participations in the governance and management of their universities. The seminar conclusions in the form of list of recommendations will be submitted to the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth. <\/span><\/p>\n
