On 16 of December 2024, the Albanian Erasmus+ Office held online the\u00a0 “National Information
\nDay Erasmus+”, during which the ‘New Calls for Applications 2025 in Higher Education’ were
\npromoted.
\nDuring this activity, the audience was informed about the opportunities that the Erasmus+
\nprogram offers for HEIs and our students, as well as getting to know more concretely about the
\napplications for the \u2018New Calls 2025\u2019.
\nAfter the greeting speech by representative of EU Delegation in Albania, it started the first
\nsession dedicated to \u2018CBHE applications and how to prepare a successful application for a new
\ncall\u2019. There were three presenters, both of them CBHE coordinators, from New York University
\nof Tirana, Logos University and \u2018Aleksander Moisiu\u2019 University of Durres who explained in detail
\nthe features of the applications according to different categories, advised the applicants what
\nthey should emphasize and what to avoid during preparing a CBHE project application and
\nafterwards, they explained in details their done work during the preparation of their winning
\nproject.
\nAfter that, the next session was dedicated to ICM activity. Three other presenters, respectively
\nfrom the \u2018Ismail Qemali\u2019 University of Vlora, the \u2018Aleksander Xhuvani\u2019 University of Elbasan and
\n\u2018Marin Barleti\u2019 University of Tirana, gave a full overview of the ICM activity in general and they
\nmoved on to the work being done in their universities to successfully perform this activity at their
\nhome university.
\nThe Info Day was ended with the \u2018Jean Monnet\u2019 session. Both presenters from the \u2018Aleksander
\nXhuvani\u2019 University of Elbasan, the Polytechnic University of Tirana and the \u2018Institute of
\nEuropean Studies\u2019 of Tirana University gave detailed information on all activities of the Jean
\nMonnet program such as: Module, Chair, ‘Centre of Excellence’; relevant objectives; topics and
\nnews of \u2018New calls 2025\u2019. Afterwards, each presenter continued with a detailed explanation of
\nthe Modules JM and Chair JM they had won, carefully advising the participants what they
\nshould keep in mind when drafting the new proposal.
\nEach session was followed by questions and answers given by the presenters or the Albanian
\nErasmus+ Office.<\/p>\n
