HERE Seminar “Smart Specializations”, 28 February, AUT

Organized by: Albanian National Erasmus+ Office and HERE Albania

On 28 February 2019, at the Agricultural University of Tirana, was held the national seminar “Smart Specializations”, organized by Erasmus + National Office and HERE. On the seminar   Austrian expert Armin Mahn from Austrian Ministry of Education, Science and Research, was invited to share with the participants his expertise. The seminar gathered more than 60 different stakeholders from the public administration, high education institutions and private sector.

The key themes that were addressed are:

  • Challenges and benefits of cooperation in partnership with HEI-business in the context of sustainable regional development, the role of the university
  • How do HEIs influence the creation of a smart specialization environment?
  • Presenting good and concrete European practices related to the preparation of a “smart specialization” strategy.
