Field Monitoring Visit for the Tempus Project “Sport Professions – Education, Employment, Development in the Balkan Region- SPEED” | National Erasmus+ Office

The NEO + staff conducted the field monitoring visit on the Tempus Speed project. This activity was undertaken in two separate meetings, organised at the Tirana University of Sports premises, on 27 March 2015, and at the University “Luigj Gurakuqi” of Shkodra premises, on 30 March 2015.

The 3-year SPEED project (December 2013 – November 2016) goal is to extend the academic reform in Sport Science area, involving Western Balkan (WB) HEIs from different countries beyond existing conflicts, easing tensions & fostering harmonisation in the region & with EU in line with accession policies.

The project has been developed by the University of Rome “Foro Italico”, three universities in Albania (Sports University of Tirana, University of Shkodra and University of Elbasan), the University of Prishtina (Kosovo under UNSC resolution 1244/99) and three universities in Serbia (University of Belgrade, University of Niš and University of Novi Sad), in partnership with three more universities in Europe (National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, University of Southern Denmark, University of Vienna).
