On June 28, 2019, at the Agricultural University of Tirana, the National Erasmus+ Office organize the field monitoring visit for the STEPS project “MSc In Sustainable Food Production Systems-STEPS”. This project has been funded with support from the European Commission, CBHE Erasmus+ programme.
The main goal of the STEPS project is the implementation of a MSc in “Food Sustainable Production systems”. By developing a structure of the MSc in compliance with the needs of labour market in terms of engineers or managers, project ensures relevance and sustainability of the master programme after the project lifetime. Second, AUT and UET will organise 10 roundtables and visit with stakeholders in order to assess their needs but also to ensure their cooperation for master implementation, students’ internships, and job placement. The organization of round tables and workshops between representative from companies and industries that perform in food sectors and academic staff and students not only is the key driver for the implementation of a successful master but also to ensure the sustainability after the termination of financial aids from Erasmus+ program.
The project’s consortium is compound of 11 partners from Europe, WBs and Albania (AUT and UET) and the project Coordinators is the Agriculture University of Tirana.
