Tittle: Harmonization and Innovation in PhD Study Programs for Plant Health in Sustainable Agriculture-HarISA.

Venue: Agriculture University of Tirana, Tirana, Albania

On June 28, 2019, at the Agricultural University of Tirana, the National Erasmus+ Office organize the field monitoring visit for the HarISA project “Harmonization and Innovation in PhD Study Programs for Plant Health in Sustainable Agriculture-HarISA”. This project has been funded with support from the European Commission, CBHE Erasmus+ programme. HarISA Project with a focus to provide support for modernization and internationalization of higher education in the field of plant health and to contribute to co-operation between the European Union and the countries of Western Balkans in implementing the European Union’s policy on plant health.

The project, with a consortium of 11+3 partners/associated partner, from Europe and Albania, has just started its first year of implementation. The consortium has already finished the analyses and comparison of the PhD study programme structures and contents related to plant health among PIS. In the other hand this research will improve the existing and development of the new courses.

The Albanian universities participating in this project are: Agricultural University of Tirana (AUT) and University of Korça “Fan S.Noli” (UNIKO).
