On January 15, the National Erasmus + Office conducted a monitoring visit to the project “Western Balkans Academic Education Evolution and Professional’s Sustainable Training for Spatial Data Infrastructure” supported by the Erasmus + Program.
The BESTSDI project consists of 16 partners, two of them Albanian: the Polytechnic University of Tirana and the Agricultural University of Tirana.
The project has a year that has been successfully completed, some of its concrete achievements are:

  • high level of understanding of the concept of Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) between academic institutions and project partners from different expert profiles,
  • formulating a new curriculum in the field of SDI and implementation within 88 courses in 16 faculties in the region.
